This engine is built with a closed-deck engine block, forged crankshaft, lightweight pistons and a twin-core intercooler the S55 is engineered for both strength and performance. Equipped with a twin mono-scroll turbocharger it delivers a rapid boost response it also features a Valvetronic variable valve timing and Double-VANOS, setting it apart from the twin turbo setup.
